Marketplace Model & User Responsibilities
Uprise Network is not the buyer or seller of coffee. We provide a technology platform enabling direct transactions between farmers and roasters.
Users agree:

Farmers are responsible for accuracy of listings, pricing, and quality claims

Roasters are responsible for verifying suitability before purchase

Uprise Network is not liable for product defects, quality variations, or disputes between parties
We act as a facilitator and logistics coordinator, not the merchant of record for coffee.
Payments & Fees
Payments may be handled through secure third-party processors.
By using the service, you agree:

All fees are displayed transparently before completing any order

Uprise Network may charge platform, logistics, or service fees (when applicable)

You authorize Uprise Network or its payment partners to charge your selected payment method
Failure to pay may result in account suspension.
Shipping, Logistics & Insurance
Uprise Network coordinates logistics through trusted third-party carriers.

However, we do not guarantee:

Roasters must inspect delivered goods immediately and report any issues within the stated timeframe.
Quality Assessments & Cupping Scores
Cupping scores, notes, and quality metrics:

Are provided by farmers, certified cuppers, or our quality partners

Are estimates and may vary due to storage, shipping, roasting technique, or handling
-
Do not constitute a guarantee
Roasters assume responsibility for the final roast outcome.
Sustainability & Impact Verification
Our platform displays impact reports, sustainability metrics, and data provided or verified by:

NGO partners

Universities and research institutions
-
Community organizations
-
Farmers and cooperatives
While accuracy is a priority, Uprise Network does not guarantee completeness of third-party data.
Acceptable Use Policy
You may not:

Misrepresent your identity, business, or products

Upload harmful, fraudulent, defamatory, or illegal content

Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt our platform

Use automation tools without authorization

Engage in harassment, exploitation, or abuse of any user
Violations may result in immediate termination and legal action.
User-Generated Content

By uploading content, you grant Uprise Network a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute it within the platform for operational purposes.
You are responsible for ensuring your content:

The amount paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or
